X-ray check

At the end of the operation, any bleedings are stopped. Drains are put into place in order to remove any blood from the joint. The wound is then sutured in layers and a compression dressing is applied.

An X-ray is taken to see how the prosthesis is seated. This X-ray image serves as a reference for follow-up exams.
