For allergic patients

For patients suffering from allergies against certain metals – known as hypersensitivity – there are implants that as a rule trigger no reactions. These are used in patients with a hypersensitivity against materials such as nickel, cobalt or chromium but are also suitable for patients without allergies.

In the area of hip replacement, a large number of prosthesis and components are made of titanium or ceramic , materials that are highly biocompatible and thus also suitable for allergic patients.
