Insertion of the prosthesis

After all testing steps for good mobility and stability have been performed, all test implants are removed and the final components are implanted. Depending on bone quality and the specific situation, the implants are anchored with or without cement.

After the implantation of the hip cup and the stem, the stem receives the prosthetic head of pre-determined size and length. The joint is then repositioned (reset) and thus the movable connection between the stem and the cup has been established. Finally, a last functional check of the joint is carried out.
